¨The Terrible Twos¨

Welcome to the Unknown Zone!

A very close friend,  had her child during Uni, and i remember that my other friends from the same group and i,  just to call her to go out with us; and every time she will said:  ¨No, i can´t¨ , but you could  hear on her voice that she was having a hard time.

 One time, i ask her if she was feeling well, and she respond:¨ I'm exhausted!¨ and i thought: (she must been having some problems with her husband)

 and she said: ¨ this kid does´t stop at all!

 And she started to tell me about her kid and about ¨The Terrible Twos¨. 
At that moment i tried to understand her, and i thought i completely understand the situation........ although in my head i was thinking: ¨C´mon , how hard can be to raise a child!!!  it´s just a Kid!. jajajajaja!!!

OOHHH SILLY ME!

 3 years later, here i am, a single Mom, with 2 and i half  years old daughter, which i love with all my heart and she is my sun of every single day. 

although I LOVE my daughter with all i have; i have to admit that she is on the            ¨terrible two´s face¨ ohhhh yess!!!.

When i remember that talk with my friend i just cannot stop thinking, how foolish i was when i talk to her that day. 

If you are a Mom or a Dad, i think you will be with me on this; and for those that are not parents yet, let me introduced you to the Terrible Twos world. 

This are just a few things that you will encounter in that ¨fascinated ¨phase:

1. They are bossy!
 Ohhhh yes!!. They are a 2 years old child with an attitude of a 18 years old teenager.

2. They cry most of the time, for NOTHING.

3. They look for ANYTHING that it´s dangerous.

4. They repeat all the words that you say! yes!! all!!

5.They won´t eat anything, unless it´s CANDY!

6. The ¨I want Mommy phase¨

 Although at the beginning i was really happy that my daughter wanted to be with me all the time, i have never imagine all this: They will not let you to do simple things on your own like: going to bathroom alone, or to take a shower, or  have 2 minutes just to sit and enjoy that moment of silence .
 Eat alone? ohhhh noooo!!! they will eat with you, in your plate, on top of you. :)

7. They say NO to everything!

8. When you say: Pajama time.... jajaja!! RUNNN!! but run to catch them to put the pajama on. because they would not let you to do that.

9. The Famous ¨WHY???¨ 

 Every time you say something about anything, they will ask you WHY Mommy?? and you need to be creative with your answer, otherwise the will say WHY Mommy? to your explanation and your are back TO SQUARE ONE! and this will last ALL DAY LONG!

10. If you have a Girl like me, they will break at least 66% of your makeup. So if you are one of the people that likes to buy expensive make up....I´M SORRY FOR YOUR LOST! 

Been said that, i can tell you now, that once you are a parent you see things differently, and that with this experience you learn how to be a better son or daughter to your parents.

 Now, as a parent i completely understand my Mom and Dad and all the sacrifices that they have done for my sister and I , and how annoying my sister and i were back in the day, and now!(jajaja)

 So, i dedicated this Blog to my parents that with  LOTS of PATIENCE and LOVE they have teach us the good and bad, and that they still  love us no matter what we do; BECAUSE THAT´S WHAT PARENTS DO, THEY  LOVE YOU WITH ALL THERE HEART!

So, Mom: THANK YOU! for all the times that you told me about life and that i needed to wait to understand why you take the decisions you take. Now, I UNDERSTAND! 

Thank you, to the LOVE OF MY LIFE, My Daughter Mia, because she teach me every day how to be more patience and creative, and show me that the only way that you can understand the quote ¨I´ll will give my life for you¨ it is when you become a parent.
