[Trends] wait.. what????

For those who are not familiar whit ¨Mom Jeans¨ let me give you a simple explanation from our primary source on the internet.... Wikipedia! 

Mom jeans is a humorously pejorative term for a specific type of fit of women's jeans, considered to be both unfashionable, and unflattering to the wearer's figure. This style usually consists of a high waist (rising above the belly button), making the buttocks appear disproportionately longer, larger, and flatter than they otherwise might. It also tends to have excess space in the zipper/crotch and leg areas. The jeans are usually in a solid, light-blue color, with no form of stone washing or fading. Other attributes of the style often seen are pleats, tapered legs, and elastic waistbands. The style is often accompanied by a blouse or shirt that is tucked into the jeans. This style of jeans was popular with women in the United States until the mid-1990s, when lower rise jeans started to become fashionable.

i laugh so hard when i read this definition, because i remember my Mom wear them back in the 90´s ( sorry Mom but what in the world were you thinking!!) jajaja!. This is one of the trends that people can joke about it, and i include SNL which back in 2003 they started the new commercial with the slogan ¨I'm not a woman anymore.... I´m a Mom¨ This trend has come back since last year, but i have been seen a lot and i mean A LOT!! of people wear them lately 

Is not that i despite the trend, but lets face it! not everyone can use it, and you know that´s is the truth!. In my opinion i hope this trend goes fast ( at least this year)  although i know that this will continue year and years to come, because this are the famous ¨Mom Jeans¨. Several brands have been selling this year this type of jeans like Top Shop, Urbanoutfitters, shopbop etc..
