[Trend- Hair] Splashlights!

When i was in Belgium, i noticed some girls in a store with this very particular hair color, that i needed to look twice , actually it was kind of cool, I ask the girl who did her hair and what was the name of that trend and she said: Splashlights.

Is the Splashlight the new Ombre?

This trend was created by Aura Friedman a hair colorist from NY, which was the creator of the Ombre Style. The intention of Aura Friedman, was to create the effect of light from one specific point to another. The first who had try this trend is the singer Caroline Polacheck, which i find sooo cool!! 

 Many experts in hair say that this is the new trend for 2014.  Bold? oh yes!,  will i do it? mmm don´t know yet, even thought I´m very impress with the results in other people.

A little bit of Aura Friedman

Aura was born in israel and grew up in the beach towns of San Diego and Miami Beach, She moved to NYC after building prominent clientele and a strong reputation for herself in Miami. When Allure Magazine listed her as the best colorist for Miami Beach and she knew it was time to branch out and follow her dream of working in NYC on fashion and celebrity editorial/ Runway projects.

Her work can be seen in publications such as Elle, Dazed & Confused, Vogue Italia, and French Playboy.
